The Nova Scotia Youth Climate Council hosts a yearly climate art showcase, and they accepted my proposal. The piece is inspired by Robin Wall Kimmerer's Serviceberry essay, which beautifully explains the value of reciprocity in nature, and how that could be applied to human society.
The medium is linocut on fabric and paper, and I chose to print the main pieces on t-shirts because I believe stylish, thoughtful apparel can be an effective conversation starter.
